Celeste and IAMED

IAMED is the International Academy of Middle Eastern Dance. The Los Angeles based Production Company was created by Suzy Evans in the mid 1990's. The mission of the organization is to bring the very best of Belly Dance Entertaiment and Instruction into living rooms all over the world.

IAMED is known for High Production Value shows, presenting renown talent on grand stages in Hollywood. IAMED also presents the most exciting and inovative instructors in thier Instructional series DVD.

Celeste's affiliation with IAMED began in 2000, assisting Ms. Evans at many Belly Dance festivals in California. Celeste's background in production and her passion for the dance made her a valuable asset to the IAMED team.

In 2003 IAMED released "TURBO SHIMMY" Celeste's first Instructional DVD. Designed for the novice dancer who is looking to create a show stopping shimmy.

Celeste is a featured Performer and Instuctor on many IAMED titles including the entire "ULTIMATE COMBINATIONS" instructional series. "Belly Danc-o-rama 3" and "Belly Dance Revolutions" as a solo performer.

In 2002 Suzy Evans decided IAMED needed a Dance Company. Celeste and Annalisa Englebach were asked to become the directing choreographers of what would become the IAMED Dance Company and the Dangerous Curves Dance Company. This dynamic trio brought together eleven fine dancers, great music and Belly Dance moves to rock audiences at the "JOHN ANSON FORD AMPITHEATER" in Hollywood for two consecutive years. Celeste has assisted in various capacity on almost all of the 58 titles that IAMED has produced. Look for her name in the credits
